Help Wanted: Translation Group at CMC

The Chan Meditation Center is forming a Chinese-English translation group. One of the projects in need of help is the translation of the transcripts for our television program - Zen and Inner Peace. Both bilingual speakers and English-only speakers are needed. Each translation project will involve three phases - translation of the materials from Chinese into English, English editing by native English speakers, and final review by bilingual speakers. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to contribute to the Center in its mission to share the Dharma, and to experience the joy of Dharma using your linguistic talent. It is also a good opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Dharma by immersing yourself in finding an accurate and lively way to express the Dharma. There will be a reasonable allowance for participants of the group based on the project and the amount of work.
